1. Print a design that people will want to wear.
As a designer, you’re always going to want your t-shirts to be the best they can possibly be. But if you’re printing them yourself, it’s important that people actually want to wear them and even more important that they buy them in the first place!
You might think this is obvious advice: “Make sure the design is something people will want to wear. But it’s easy for us as designers and creators of all kinds of things (including t-shirts) to get caught up in our own heads and forget how everything looks from an outsider’s perspective.
